Chris Payne

Yamaha recording artist Chris Payne has been playing and performing music professionally for almost a decade. By the time he received his Bachelors of Music- Composition from Cal State Fullerton in 2000, Chris was already making a name for himself as well as his band BAYADERA. They have opened for such names as Arturo Sandoval, Tito Puente, The Violent Femmes, and Sugar Ray. Chris is excited to be teaching nylon, steel string, and electric guitar and bass for the Academy and pledges to teach a love for music as well as its technique.
